European Media Art Platform (EMAP) Residencies 2027

About this call

The European Media Art Platform (EMAP), administered by Werkleitz Gesellschaft e.V., offers two-month production residencies at 15 partner venues across Europe for artists working in digital, media, robotic, and bio art. Applications must be submitted as duos, collectives, or collaborative projects. Support includes a €4,000 personal grant per applicant, a €4,000 project budget, and covered travel and accommodation. PhD candidates and emerging artists are welcome; undergraduate and Master's students are not eligible.

• Must apply as a duo, collective, or collaborative project. EU residents or taxpayers, or residents/taxpayers from eligible non-EU countries. PhD candidates and emerging artists (any age) welcome; undergraduate and Master's students not eligible. Residency applications open September 3 to November 6, 2026, 2pm CET. Host venues: Austria, France, Slovakia, Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands, Slovenia, Croatia, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Greece, Latvia, Germany, Poland.
