About this call

Create! Magazine, an independent art magazine whose address is in Philadelphia, United States, invites artists worldwide working in any medium to submit to its Winter 2027 print issue #61. The call is curated by Deep Space Gallery in Jersey City, run by Jenna Geiger and Keith VanPelt; all subjects and media are welcome. The jurors choose one cover artist, who receives the cover of the print and digital magazine, a feature spread, an in-depth interview, an invitation to the Create! Podcast and a free print copy. Other selected artists receive a four-page spread in the print and digital issue, features on the website and social media, and a complimentary digital issue. Jurying starts in December 2026, winners are announced in January 2027 and the issue is released in Winter 2027. Artists keep full copyright, and there are no further fees if selected.

• Entry fee: $35
• Open to artists worldwide working in any medium; no restrictions on age, education level, nationality or location, and no academic background is required. Original works only, created by the artist submitting; galleries and agents may submit on behalf of their artists. Submit up to 10 works (cohesive bodies of work and series encouraged) as high-resolution 300 DPI JPG or PNG images, a 300 word bio, a 300 word artist statement and a link to your website or portfolio, through Submittable; payment by credit card or PayPal. Entry fee USD 35 for up to three images, non-refundable. The call allows up to 10 works, and the site's general FAQ says there may be additional fees for extra images; the pages do not state the amount for more than three images. No further fees if selected; print copies are optional to buy. Deadline November 30, 2026, 11:59 PM EST.
