About this call
Beam Center invites artists, architects, engineers, designers, builders, filmmakers, musicians, and technologists to submit ambitious proposals for a large-scale public artwork to be built at Beam Camp in Strafford, New Hampshire. The selected project will be realized during summer 2027 by a community of over 100 campers aged 9-17 and 20+ staff. Projects should be technically challenging, take advantage of the camp's workshop facilities (wood and metal shops, welding, ceramics, textiles, technology lab), and occupy the community for approximately 50 hours of building. Proposals from anywhere in the world and from people of any age are welcome.
