ATH Creative Fund, Grant Cycle 01

About this call

The ATH Creative Fund from Arts To Hearts Project is an unrestricted $500 USD grant awarded to one artist each month, with no receipts or reports. Grant Cycle 01 accepts applications from October 15 to November 15, 2026, and the recipient will be announced on November 23. The money can go to supplies, equipment, studio rent, courses, framing or time to create. The recipient is also interviewed for a feature published on artstoheartsproject.com and announced as the cycle's recipient on the project's Instagram. The fund is open worldwide to visual artists, photographers and writers at every career stage; applications are reviewed by the Arts To Hearts team, who say follower counts, likes and formal training play no part in the decision. Applying takes two parts: a public Instagram post of one work sample, tagged and with the fund's hashtag, and the online form. Those not selected can apply again in the next monthly cycle.

Who can apply

• Medium: Painting / Drawing / Photography / Printmaking / Mixed Media / Writing

• Applicants must be 18 or older; open worldwide. Eligible disciplines: visual art (painting, drawing, illustration, digital art, mixed media, collage, printmaking), photography, and creative writing (poetry, short stories, flash fiction, personal essays). Submit one original work sample you made yourself; fan art, fan fiction, logos and licensed characters are not eligible. The sample must be posted publicly on Instagram between October 15 and November 15, tagged @artstoheartsproject on the image with #ATHCreativeFund, and the online form must also be completed (it asks for the post link, an image of yourself, an image of the work and a few lines about your practice); an application is only complete with both. Writers can post a photo of the page or a simple text graphic. A private Instagram account must be made public while applications are open. Writing must be in English: poems up to 40 lines, stories and essays up to 1,500 words. One application per person per cycle. By applying you allow Arts To Hearts Project to share your work sample on its Instagram and website with credit. The grant is paid in USD and any transfer fees are the recipient's responsibility. If the selected recipient cannot be reached within 7 days, the grant may be awarded to another applicant.
