New York City Film Production Grant

About this call

The Jerome Foundation offers production grants of up to USD 30,000 to early-career film directors based in New York City whose work takes creative risks. Applicants must have completed and publicly screened at least two films and must apply as individuals, not organizations.

• Applicants must be NYC residents planning to remain residents for at least 183 days during the grant period (May 2027 to April 2029), must apply as individual directors (not organizations), must have completed and publicly screened two films, and must hold the copyright and have conceived the original idea for the proposed film. Non-US citizens may apply if they hold an SSN or ITIN.
