About this call
NordArt, organized since 1999 by the non-profit cultural initiative Kunstwerk Carlshütte, invites artists from around the world to apply for NordArt 2027, which runs from June 5 to October 3, 2027 on the grounds of the historic Carlshütte iron foundry in Büdelsdorf, Germany. The exhibition presents 200 selected artists across 22,000 m² of indoor space, an 80,000 m² sculpture park and the ACO Wagenremise. Applications are free and can be made online (preferred), by email or by post, with a CV and images of up to 10 works; artists who need to realise their work on site can apply as Artist in Residence with a project description. A jury selects participants by mid-February 2027. Works can be offered for sale with no commission, artists bear transport costs to and from the venue, and works are insured by NordArt from arrival until collection.
