About this call

Trame is a residency programme of the Cité internationale des arts, supported by the French Ministry of Culture, for French-speaking artists from around the world and all disciplines (exhibition curating, visual arts, performance, literature, cinema, music, architecture and design) who want to develop a research and creative project in Paris, France. Ten laureates are selected each year. The residency runs from March 3 to May 28, 2027 on the Marais site. Artists receive a furnished studio-apartment, a monthly living allowance of EUR 1,000 net of taxes, a research and production grant of EUR 1,000 including VAT paid on proof of payment, and coverage of visa fees, travel insurance and return transport to Paris up to a maximum amount. The programme includes regular meetings with cultural professionals, open studios and meetings with curators and art critics. Return transport of works or equipment is not covered, and a report is requested at the end. Results are announced in January 2027.
