About this call
La Maison Dora Maar, the historic Provencal house of Surrealist artist Dora Maar in Ménerbes, offers annual fellowships to mid-career and established artists, writers, scholars, and musicians. Fellows work independently on self-directed projects within a small residential community. Residencies run one to two months between March and November. Fellows are expected to participate in monthly public Salons and contribute to the local Ménerbes community. Applications must be submitted in English or French, and fellows need a working knowledge of at least one of these languages.

- Entry fee: $25
- Applicants must be established professionals with a record of solo exhibitions, publications, or feature films. Submit via Slideroom: project description (max 1,000 words), 4-page CV, work samples (10 images for visual artists; 20 pages for writers), letter of reference, and passport copy for non-EU applicants. $25 fee payable through Slideroom. Basic French or English required.
