About this call

The Town of Oakville welcomes exhibition proposals from professional, local, emerging artists, instructors, students and culture groups in Oakville and the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area, in fine art, craft and digital arts, for temporary public exhibitions in its community and cultural centre galleries. There are three streams sharing the same September 1 deadline. Corridor Galleries at Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre, Trafalgar Park Community Centre, Glen Abbey Community Centre and Oakville Trafalgar Community Centre are free to exhibit in, programmed seasonally in winter, spring and summer, and fall runs of three to four months. The Main Gallery at QEPCCC presents professional work by local artists for a fee, with weekly rental rates and a three week minimum, and may also host national and international artists or proposals from curators and collectives. Youth Corridor Galleries at QEPCCC are free and open to artists aged 11 to 19 from Oakville and the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. Selected artists are contacted roughly two months after the deadline.
