Western Illinois University Art Gallery - Exhibition Proposals

About this call

The University Art Gallery at Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois, encourages visual artists to submit exhibition proposals for solo, two-person and group exhibitions. Accepted artists are provided with a reasonable honorarium to assist with travel and shipping expenses, depending on their needs and circumstances. The call is open to visual artists working across a range of media. The gallery is currently accepting proposals for the 2027-2028 school year. As a university gallery programme, it offers artists the opportunity to exhibit in a dedicated academic gallery space rather than a cash prize.
