About this call
Decode Gallery built Unposed around a single idea: real life, unscripted. The call asks for candid moments of human truth captured anywhere on earth, with no posing, no staging and no performance. Black and white is welcome and so is moody color, but the gallery says authenticity is what decides it. Juror Holly Hart, a fine art photographer who studied at the Art Institute of Seattle and founded the gallery to give photographers wall space, makes the selection. Entry is 40 dollars and covers up to five photographs. Twenty six images are chosen and the gallery prints all of them on Epson equipment with premium luster paper, then mats and frames them in 22 inch white frames at no cost to the photographer. Photographers keep every right to their images and split sales evenly with the gallery. The show hangs in Tucson from October 3 to October 31, 2026.
