Sunroom Project Space 2027

About this call

The Sunroom Project Space at Wave Hill offers early-career artists in the New York City area a chance to develop and present a site-specific solo project in the Sunroom and Sun Porch of Glyndor Gallery. Projects should respond to Wave Hill's plant collections, history, design, and architecture. For the 2027 season, the program is especially interested in work addressing ancestral wisdom in relation to our connection with the earth and soil, including regenerative practices and land art. Four artists are selected, each working across media, and each receives a $2,000 honorarium along with exhibition and professional development support. Applicants must live within a 50-mile radius of the Bronx.
