RFQ: Custom Conference Tables at Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority HQ
About this call
The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority runs the Arts at the Airport program, funded by a one percent set aside from capital improvement projects. Through RFQ 25/26-19 it is looking for a professional visual artist or artist team to design and fabricate four custom conference tables for the new Police and Airport Authority Headquarters building on Reno-Tahoe International Airport property. The tables will sit in four interior conference rooms and enter the airport's permanent collection, so they must be functional, durable, low maintenance and able to carry A/V components, while following the Authority's Modern Mountain design theme. The budget is up to $80,000 for all four tables, all inclusive of design, engineering, fabrication, materials, labor, travel, insurance, delivery and installation. Applicants must be professional visual artists or teams residing in the United States, at least 18 years old, with a minimum of five years of experience making custom furniture of comparable scope; artists in Nevada and bordering states are specifically invited. There is no entry fee. Qualifications are due August 27, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. PDT, after which semi-finalists advance to an RFP phase, with delivery and installation planned for summer 2027.
