About this call
Strathcona County Public Art invites artists and artist teams to propose work for the Strathcona Wilderness Centre near Sherwood Park, Alberta. Two temporary public art commissions are available at CAD $10,000 each, alongside the Activate Youth Public Art Residency at CAD $10,000. The residency supports an artist working with youth on an ecologically or nature-focused creative project. Proposals may span visual art, public art, craft, media, sound, performance, socially engaged, design, or interdisciplinary practice.
