About this call
New Works 2026 is a juried exhibition at the Floyd Center for the Arts celebrating regional artists exploring bold ideas, fresh perspectives, and evolving creative practices. The show seeks work demonstrating experimentation, growth, and artistic exploration, whether through new materials, innovative techniques, or contemporary takes on traditional forms. Any visual art medium is welcome, including painting, sculpture, digital work, video and three dimensional pieces; video and 3D submissions must arrive with their own display equipment and installation guidance. The exhibition runs October 3 through November 21, 2026 in the Hayloft Gallery.
Who can apply
- Regional applicants
- Medium: Painting / Sculpture / New Media / Video / Mixed Media
- Entry fee: $25
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, live within a 150 mile radius of the Floyd Center for the Arts, submit artwork completed within the past two years, and submit original work in any visual art medium. A $25 non refundable application fee applies. Video and 3D submissions must include display equipment and installation guidance.
