About this call
MTA Arts & Design invites artists to submit images of previous work for permanent public art opportunities tied to accessibility upgrades at three Queens Boulevard Line stations: Parsons Blvd, Briarwood, and Jamaica-179 St. The station artworks will be realized in mosaic and/or glass by an approved fabricator, each averaging between 475 and 600 square feet across multiple surfaces. A panel selects three sets of finalists, one per station, to develop original site-specific proposals for a $1,250 honorarium. Eligibility is based on artistic merit, and artwork in any medium may be submitted for review.
