About this call
The City of Salida Arts & Culture Department, with the Salida Arts & Culture Advisory Commission, is commissioning mosaic installations for six large outdoor concrete planters along F Street in the Salida Creative District. Artists submit original mosaic, tile or glass concepts for one or more of the multi sided planters, each roughly 110 square feet with integrated seating. Selected artists install the work directly onto the existing planters, and designs must be durable, weather resistant and vandal resistant. Proposals are judged on artistic excellence, craftsmanship, relevant experience and originality; applications are accepted only through the CaFE platform.
