Call for 2027 Exhibition Proposals

About this call

Kahilu Exhibits, the gallery program of the Kahilu Theatre Foundation in Waimea (Kamuela) on Hawaii Island, is accepting exhibition proposals to fill its 2027 program across two spaces: the Simperman Gallery for large-scale work and the Suli T. Go Gallery for emerging artists' first solo shows. Up to six proposals will be selected, and the venue provides museum-quality support for preparation and design. The call is open internationally to solo artists, artist groups, curators, cultural practitioners, and community organizations aged 18 and over, across a wide range of media. A $45 entry fee applies. No stipend or honorarium is offered at this time, though selected artists receive 60 percent of any art sales.
