About this call
Bridgwater Arts Centre is marking its 80th anniversary with a mural commission for the front of its theatre balcony. The balcony surface is 1070 cm long and 77 cm high, with one panel of 92 cm on the left hand side, plus a tech box front of roughly 200 cm by 240 cm, all on painted wooden board. Proposals should respond to the centre's history and its role in the local community, and suit a public-facing indoor space. The artist is selected on 21 August 2026 and installation runs from 21 September 2026 over roughly two days.
