About this call
This one day pop up exhibition is a fundraiser, and the money it raises goes toward converting a long closed school building into the Sheridan Parkside Life Center, a neighbourhood space for connection, care and creativity. The call asks for faith based work on grace, redemption, community, healing and what endures through hard seasons, and it explicitly welcomes symbolic, abstract, personal and narrative approaches alike. All visual media are accepted including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, mixed media, digital art, printmaking and textile work. Work made with AI is not accepted, and everything submitted must be the artist's own. The show runs for a single day, 19 September 2026 from 11am to 4pm. Artists may sell work on a 60 to 40 split, and donated pieces go into a raffle running through the day. Entry costs 25 dollars and artists hear back on 26 August.
