Art In Situ on the Route des Grands Crus, 2027 Edition Open Call
About this call
Art In Situ, Sur la Route des Grands Crus is a travelling contemporary art trail created by Association La Route des Arts to pair art with the wine heritage of Burgundy's Route des Grands Crus. The 2027 edition runs from early March 2027 to the end of December 2027 across partner wine estates, cellars, gardens and properties in and around Beaune. Works are chosen by a selection committee on artistic quality, coherence as a group, and the spatial and technical constraints of the venues; the committee may retain between one and five works from an applicant, or none. Selection by the committee is only a first stage, since the partner estates then choose which works they will display, so being selected does not guarantee that a work goes on the trail. The selection is presented to the estates in September and October 2026, replies come at the end of October or start of November 2026, and installation begins in January 2027.
