About this call
Public Art Agency Sweden, in collaboration with the National Property Board of Sweden, invites professional artists and artist groups to express interest in developing a sketch proposal for a permanent artwork in the outdoor environment of the Admiralty House on Skeppsholmen, Stockholm. Skeppsholmen is Stockholm cultural island, home to Moderna Museet, the Royal Institute of Art and public works by Niki de Saint Phalle and Jean Tinguely. The interest submission period runs from May 29 to September 10, 2026. Following evaluation, two artists are awarded sketch commissions of SEK 120,000 each, with the intention to assign one of them an implementation agreement of SEK 4,000,000. The sketching process runs from October 2026 to March 2027.
