2026 Quilts Unlimited
About this call
Quilts Unlimited is View Arts Center's annual juried survey of quilting, and the 2026 edition again opens to quilters working in art, bed and wall formats. Selection is handled by Sue Cortese, a Michigan quilt artist who dyes and prints her own fabric and sits on the board of Studio Art Quilt Associates. Awards are judged separately by Pat Harrison, a certified quilt judge who writes custom commentary for every entered quilt. Entries must be personally executed within the last four years, must credit any pattern designer, and cannot have shown at View before. Kit quilts and hand-tied quilts are excluded, and stitching has to pass through three layers. Entry is 35 dollars for non-members and 30 dollars for View members, covering one work, with additional images at 10 dollars each. Quilters may submit five pieces but no more than two per person will hang. The exhibition runs October 2 to November 28, 2026 in the Adirondacks, alongside the ADK Quilt Conference in early October.
