About this call
The Denison Arts Council runs its annual juried salon in the spirit of the historic Salon de Paris, and this year asks artists to represent their culture. The council wants work that depicts beloved recipes, cultural dress, family traditions, and anything else that celebrates where you come from. Juror Jose Vargas selects the show, which runs September 12 to November 8, 2026 in downtown Denison, Texas. An Artists' Night reception with the awards presentation opens the exhibition on September 12.
