Soundcinema Dusseldorf is a recorded-sound festival for experimental, electronic and electroacoustic music taking place on October 28, 2026 at FFT Dusseldorf. Its 2026 call for sounds invites works either in a free category or under the thematic focus "Acceleration," seeking compositions that engage sonic, structural and temporal processes of acceleration through changes in density, energy, rhythm and information flow. The free category welcomes compositions, soundscapes, sound collages, sonic experiments and narrative audio. From the entries, ten works are selected and presented; at the event two jury awards and one audience award of 750 euros each are given, and each selected work also receives a 100 euro fee. The deadline is July 31, 2026.
