About this call
Sweetwater Center for the Arts invites Black and BIPOC artists aged 18 and over to submit work for Rooted in Grit, Held in Grace, the 30th anniversary Mavuno Exhibition in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. The show explores grit, grace and gratitude through perseverance, cultural identity and community, and runs September 25 to November 13, 2026. All media are welcome, artists may submit up to five works, and participating artists receive a $250 stipend.
