About this call

treat gallery invites artists to submit original artwork exploring the theme 2026 and the experience of being halfway through the year, whether as a reflection, prediction, question, warning, hope, memory, or vision. All visual art mediums are welcome and the theme may be interpreted expansively. From the entries, 8 to 12 artists will be featured in a curated online exhibition of small-format works on the gallery website and Artsy, and 3 to 6 artists will be invited to exhibit during Affordable Art Fair NY. The submission deadline is August 2, 2026, with notifications by August 7; the exhibition runs August 14 to September 14, 2026, and Affordable Art Fair NY takes place September 16 to 20, 2026.
