About this call

The Hunt Museum, one of Ireland's leading cultural institutions housed in the historic Custom House in Limerick, presents its Second Annual Hunt Open Submission Exhibition. This juried exhibition celebrates contemporary visual art from Ireland and around the world, fostering dialogue between living artists and the museum's historic collections. Submissions are invited in paint, photography, sculpture, print, drawing and mixed media; up to three works may be entered at EUR 15 per work. A panel of invited artists selects works on artistic merit, and four special awards recognise outstanding achievement. The exhibition runs from 5 December 2026 to 21 February 2027, with selected works shown both in the gallery and online.
