About this call

PhotoPlace Gallery invites photographers to submit work for Animalia: Our Shared World, a juried exhibition about the diversity of animal life, from companions and backyard visitors to wildlife, birds, insects, reptiles, amphibians and marine life. The gallery welcomes photographs exploring the beauty, character, behavior and relationships of animals, including relationships between animals, people and the natural world, and all photographic genres and processes. Juror Wendi Schneider will select up to 35 photographs for exhibition at PhotoPlace Gallery in Middlebury, Vermont, United States, and about 40 more for the Online Gallery. The exhibition runs January 1 to 30, 2027, with an opening reception on January 1.
