Mecene et Loire Photography Grant 2026

About this call

The Mecene et Loire Foundation issues an annual photographic commission built around a single theme. The 2026 theme is Empreinte (Imprint). The selected photographer receives €25,000 to create a new body of work, which will be exhibited at the Artotheque in Angers and permanently integrated into the foundation’s collection. The selection process includes a pre-selection committee in November 2026 and a final oral presentation before the jury at the Artotheque in Angers in December 2026. The resulting work is professionally printed, framed, and exhibited from October 2027 to March 2028.
