About this call
The CNES Observatoire de l'Espace invites professional artists to propose a single artwork conceived and created during a parabolic flight aboard the Airbus Zero-G aircraft, which provides 30 arcs of 22 seconds of weightlessness each. One laureate is selected by a jury and receives a total budget of 2,500 EUR plus covered flight and travel costs; the completed work enters the Observatoire's contemporary art collection. The flight campaign is scheduled for March 2027, with results announced from November 2026.
