About this call
La Biennale di Venezia invites choreographers from Italy and abroad to submit original choreographic projects for Biennale Danza 2027. This is the sixth consecutive year the festival has supported new generations of dance artists with production funding. Projects may range from solo pieces to ensemble compositions. Selected works premiere at the 21st International Festival of Contemporary Dance in Venice (15-31 July 2027), with the Fondazione covering all production and staging costs. Selected works may also benefit from collaborating production partners.

- Open to Italian and international artists and dance companies. Submit original choreographic projects on or before October 20, 2026 via the online application form.
