Phenomenon Grant 2026
About this call
Created in 2025, the Phenomenon Grant is a yearly programme supporting art projects in Greece by individuals, collectives and non profit organizations engaged with queer, feminist, anti colonial and other emancipatory art practices. It funds critical phases of artistic development, enabling experimentation, research, collaboration and the realization of new and ongoing projects. The programme looks for voices that engage critically and ethically with rising authoritarianism and the dismantling of social justice advancements, that create spaces of resistance and that reimagine futures beyond exclusion and domination. Particular attention goes to collaborative work rooted in Greece and built on connections with the Global Majority. Kerenidis Pepe has pledged a total budget of 60,000 euros over 2025 to 2027. In 2025 the grant received 193 applications and awarded three grants of 8,500 euros each.
