XXI International Graphic Triennial 2027

About this call

The Kunstverein zu Frechen invites professional artists worldwide to submit printmaking works for the XXI International Graphic Triennial 2027. The competition accepts both traditional techniques, including woodcut, linocut, screen printing, and etching, as well as contemporary methods such as computer printing. Up to four works per artist may be submitted, all created from 2023 onward, and each work must demonstrate expressive power in both content and form. Selected works will be exhibited at Stadtsaal in Frechen from June 18 to July 11, 2027, accompanied by a bilingual German and English catalogue.

Who can apply

• International applicants
• Medium: Printmaking
• Entry fee: €40
• Submit up to 4 printmaking works created in 2023 or later. Maximum dimensions: length plus width under 250 cm (or length plus width plus height under 250 cm for 3D works). Complete registration form with CV and submit digital files at minimum 300 dpi resolution. A EUR 40 fee applies only to artists selected for the expert jury round.
