About this call
The Emerging Digital Artists Award, presented by EQ Bank, recognizes emerging artists working in digital media. Applicants must be residents of Canada, at least 18 years old, and emerging artists within the first seven years of their professional career, beginning with their first solo or group exhibition outside an academic context; a Fine Arts degree is not required. Five winners each receive a 5,000 CAD prize across five categories celebrating a range of digital media production. One recipient receives a commission and solo exhibition at the MacKenzie Art Gallery in Regina (2027-28), and one is selected for an Artist Project in BlackFlash Magazine. There is no entry fee. The application deadline is September 15, 2026, 11:59pm ET.
