DENKMASCHINE Papier Open Call 2026

About this call

Haus des Papiers invites individuals, teams, school classes, university courses, workshops, and research groups to explore paper, paper waste, or regional fiber plants as foundations for future materials. Approximately 20 to 40 selected works will be featured in an exhibition opening December 11, 2026, with concepts welcome at any stage of development from early sketches and experiments to completed projects. Interdisciplinary approaches are particularly encouraged. A processing fee of EUR 5 applies to all submissions.

Who can apply

• Medium: Mixed Media
• Entry fee: €5
• Submit a concept of up to two A4 pages. Optional supplementary materials include up to five photographs, renderings, material samples, or sketches. A processing fee of EUR 5 applies. Finished works are not required; concepts at any stage of development are welcome.
