About this call
Prospect Art invites visual artists worldwide to apply for the 2027 NEW WORK commission. Artists respond to the curatorial theme We Come in Pieces by creating new conceptually driven work that explores alienness as a method for shifting perspective beyond human-centered narratives. One selected artist receives a $1,500 commission to produce the work. Proposals are welcome from artists working across moving image, installation, sculpture, photography, performance, sound, digital media, social practice, and interdisciplinary forms.
