About this call
Fresh Perspectives funds cross sector collaborations in which a designer and a partner from outside the creative industries take on a social question together. The fund names climate, housing, polarisation, migration and inequality of opportunity as the kind of themes it has in mind, and the end product is left open: an activity, an intervention, an event, a publication, a service, a product or a process all qualify. Applicants are designers, architects and makers who have run their own practice for at least four years in design, digital culture or architecture, and collectives and duos are welcome. The scheme works in two stages. Phase one gives ten projects 10,000 euros for a startup period of up to five months, running from 1 December 2026 to 30 April 2027, during which the team produces a project plan, a budget and a collaboration agreement. Projects that complete phase one may then apply for phase two, worth 50,000 euros for up to twelve months of implementation between September 2027 and August 2028, with a presentation to the advisory committee as part of that round. Decisions on phase one are announced through the application platform by 10 November 2026 at the latest.
