About this call
The E.SUN Art Awards is one of Taiwan's leading international painting competitions, organized by E.SUN Bank and now in a milestone edition. The 2026 theme centers on the ecological landscapes and cultural character of Yushan (Yu Shan) National Park, with music introduced as a new thematic focus. The Foreigner Category is open to non-nationals of any age and is judged entirely on submitted painting. Eligible media are limited to oil, acrylic, and gouache. Preliminary submissions are made online; selected original works must be shipped to Taiwan for final judging between August 17-28, 2026. The exhibition runs October through December 2026. Since its founding the award has drawn over 5,000 entries from 72 countries.
